DICE Awards 2026: Clair Obscur dan Ghost of Yotei Pimpin Nominasi

Suara.com - Dunia game tengah menantikan puncak penghargaan industri, DICE Awards ke-29, yang akan digelar di Las Vegas pada 12 Februari mendatang.

Persaingan tahun ini terlihat sangat ketat, dengan dua judul besar, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 dan Ghost of Yotei , memimpin perolehan nominasi.

Keduanya berhasil mengantongi delapan nominasi, termasuk untuk kategori paling bergengsi, Game of the Year.

Namun, jalan Clair Obscur tidak sepenuhnya mulus, karena game ini baru saja tersandung kontroversi penggunaan AI yang menggemparkan.

Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) telah resmi mengumumkan daftar lengkap nominasinya.

Menyusul Clair Obscur dan Ghost of Yotei , ada Arc Raiders dan Dispatch yang masing-masing mendapatkan enam nominasi.

Tidak ketinggalan, Blue Prince mencuri perhatian dengan lima nominasi, diikuti oleh Death Stranding 2: On the Beach dengan empat nominasi.

Kelima game yang akan memperebutkan gelar Game of the Year adalah Arc Raiders, Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Dispatch, dan Ghost of Yotei .

Cukup menarik, Hollow Knight: Silksong yang menjadi favorit penggemar hanya mendapat satu nominasi untuk kategori Game Petualangan Terbaik.

Di tengah euforia nominasi ini, awan kelabu membayangi Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Gelar Game of the Year yang sebelumnya mereka raih di Indie Game Awards 2025 secara mengejutkan dicabut.

Penyebabnya adalah terungkapnya penggunaan aset AI generatif di awal pengembangan, yang melanggar aturan submisi ajang tersebut.

Direktur game, Guillaume Broche, mengklarifikasi bahwa itu hanyalah eksperimen singkat. "Kami mencobanya, dan kami sama sekali tidak menyukainya. Rasanya salah," ujar Broche dikutip dari Polygon.
