SUARA SEMARANG – “Sometimes when I’m lonely, I sit and think about him”.. penggalan lirik ini belakangan kerap muncul di media sosial sebagai lagu latar dari video yang diunggah di Tiktok maupun instagram.

Lirik tersebut ternyata merupakan penggalan lagu lawas berjudul Angeleyes, yang direkam pada tahun 1978 oleh grup ABBA. Grup musik asal Swedia ini memasukkan Angeleyes dalam album ke enam mereka bertajuk Voulez-Vous yang dirilis ke publik setahun kemudian.

Lagu berdurasi 4 menit 20 detik ini bercerita tentang seorang wanita yang berusaha memberikan peringatan pada wanita lain akan seorang pria yang pernah dekat dengannya.

Si wanita menceritakan bahwa pria tersebut memiliki mata yang sangat indah dengan tatapan yang menakjubkan, dan itulah “senjatanya” untuk memikat para wanita.
