Dengan adanya peraturan baru tersebut, maka batas akhir pengumuman UMP akan diperpanjang hingga 28 November 2022 mendatang. Sementara untuk UMK, diberikan waktu hingga tanggal 7 Desember 2022.

Perubahan jadwal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan dan waktu yang cukup bagi dewan pengupahan daerah dalam menghitung upah minimum 2023 sesuai dengan formula yang baru.
